One of the first questions that I always get is, “What’s up with the mang nickname?” A friend gave it to me years ago, after watching an episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force; and let’s just say that it kind of stuck. I’m a graphic and web designer based out of San Francisco, CA and this website is a reflection of both personal and professional work.

For the last several years I’ve been fortunate enough to gain an amazing amount of start-up experience, running a small but profitable software development company that builds custom content management solutions. In the process I learned more than I ever thought I would about deploying servers to colocations, accounting and bookkeeping, and why most companies don’t choose vocal exotic parrots as the office mascot.

In my free time I enjoy sailing the SF Bay with my lovely husband, along with being a mother to ‘Tootsie’ our Siamese cat and ‘Rocky’ the Yellow Naped Amazon parrot. Any reprieve from the menagerie is likely to include the following, and will appear regularly in my blog: design, tech, humor, sewing, museums, sailing, typography, photography, PSA, San Francisco, fashion, art, and international relations.
